The Girls Glowing Up College Scholarship is a $1,000 scholarship designed to support young women who have shown extraordinary growth, leadership, and commitment to personal development. This scholarship aims to assist a deserving young woman in pursuing higher education, helping her continue on her path to becoming a confident, independent, and empowered individual.

We believe that education is one of the key stepping stones to empowerment, and this scholarship will help bridge the gap for young women who are ready to pursue their dreams, whether that be in college, vocational training, or other post-secondary educational opportunities.

• $1,000 awarded to one deserving student annually to support tuition, books, or educational expenses.

To be eligible for the Girls Glowing Up College Scholarship, applicants must meet the following requirements:

1. Gender: Female or identifying as female.
2. Age: Applicants must be between the ages of 17-24 at the time of application.
3. Graduating High School or Currently Enrolled in College:
   
   • High school seniors who plan to attend a college or university in the upcoming academic year.
   • Current college students who are enrolled full-time in a post-secondary institution.

1. Academic Standing: Applicants must have a minimum GPA of 2.5 on a 4.0 scale.
2. Demonstrated Growth and Leadership: Applicants should demonstrate personal growth, leadership, and a commitment to pursuing their educational and career goals.
3. Financial Need: The scholarship is intended for students who demonstrate financial need to help fund their education.
4. Participation in Girls Glowing Up Camp: Preference may be given to applicants who have attended Glow Up Girls Camp in the past, but the scholarship is open to all eligible young women.

To apply for the Girls Glowing Up College Scholarship, please follow the steps outlined below:

1. Complete the Scholarship Application Form:
   Fill out the application form, which will request basic information such as your name, contact information, academic background, and a few other personal details.
2. Submit a Personal Essay:
   In no more than 500 words, write a personal essay that answers the following questions:
   
   • How have you grown personally and/or academically over the past few years?
   • How has your experience in Glow Up Girls Camp (if applicable) or other activities helped you become more confident and prepared for your future?
   • What are your long-term educational and career goals, and how will receiving this scholarship help you achieve them?

   • Proof of Enrollment or Acceptance: A copy of your current enrollment status or a college acceptance letter.
   • Official Transcript: A current transcript or report card from your school or college showing your GPA.
   • Letters of Recommendation: Two letters of recommendation from teachers, mentors, or community leaders who can speak to your character, work ethic, and leadership potential.
