Our Story

About Girls Glowing Up™

Girls Glowing Up™ is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit helping girls K–12 discover their worth, build confidence, develop leadership skills, and prepare for successful futures.

Mentorship in action
Our Why

Because when a girl glows up, her whole community glows up.

Today's girls are navigating social media, peer pressure, family challenges, and increasing pressure to define their worth. GGU exists to provide the guidance, encouragement, and opportunities they need to grow with confidence and purpose.

“Every girl doesn't just grow up — she glows up.”
Our Values

What we stand for

Every girl. Every zip code.

Access should never depend on income, background, or geography.

Family-centered.

Parents and guardians are partners, not spectators.

Evidence-informed.

SEL frameworks, mentor training, and outcomes we can measure.

Joyful & rigorous.

Girls learn best when they feel safe, seen, and celebrated.

Community-rooted.

Built with schools, faith groups, and local partners — not for them.

Honest & transparent.

Real numbers. Real stories. Real accountability.
