Girls Glowing Up was born from one belief: every girl deserves someone in her corner who believes in her before she believes in herself.
Why I started Girls Glowing Up
Girls Glowing Up started with a pattern that was impossible to unsee: girls who were bright, capable, and full of potential — but who had never been told, consistently and out loud, that they were worth investing in. Encouragement alone wasn't closing that gap. Girls needed tools, relationships, and real opportunities.
The vision was a place where a girl could work on all of herself at once — identity, emotional wellness, leadership, money, and her future — with a mentor beside her and a curriculum she could actually hold in her hands. Not a one-time workshop. A structure she could grow inside of, from elementary school through graduation.
What began as intentional mentorship with a handful of girls is becoming a community of families, mentors, schools, and sponsors — a Leadership Academy, a mentoring network, and a five-pillar curriculum. The goal ahead is simple and ambitious: reach every girl who needs someone in her corner, and never turn one away for what her family can afford.
"Every girl deserves to know her worth, discover her voice, and have the tools to build the life she imagines."
— Ra'Sheleria Williams, Founder
Three commitments
Every girl, no exceptions
Access can never depend on income, zip code, or family background.
Guide, don't lecture
Girls grow when they feel seen, not managed. Mentorship is a partnership.
Build the whole girl
Identity, mind, leadership, money, future — none of it works in isolation.
Her vision started with a belief in girls.
Today, that belief is becoming a movement.
