Every mentor, volunteer, and staff member completes a background check and child safety training before working with girls. Two-adult rule, transparent communication, and mandatory reporter obligations are enforced across every program.
Privacy
We collect only what we need to serve families well. Personal information is never sold. Photos and stories are used only with signed parent/guardian consent. Data is stored securely and retained only as long as needed.
Nondiscrimination
GGU welcomes girls of every race, ethnicity, religion, national origin, ability, family structure, and socioeconomic background. Discrimination or harassment in any form is not tolerated in our programs or organization.
Diversity, Equity & Inclusion
We build programs with — not just for — the communities we serve. Board, staff, mentors, and curriculum reflect the girls and families in our care. Access should never depend on income or zip code.
Financial Accountability
As a 501(c)(3), we operate under IRS transparency requirements. Financial summaries, allocation targets, and annual reports are available on request as we grow.
Grievance & Reporting
Families, mentors, and community members can raise a concern confidentially through our contact form. All safeguarding reports are investigated promptly by leadership and, where required, by appropriate authorities.
